Positive self-esteem, self-discipline and control, good social, listening, verbal and self-help skills are all part of the Montecito Preschool program. These are the most important building blocks of human development, and they play an important part in Kindergarten readiness. As an integral part of our daily classroom routines and activities, our curriculum focuses on the development of self-care, gross and fine motor skills, self-regulation, social-emotional expression and development, and cognitive development. This curriculum is tailored to the age group of each class and to the stage of development each child is in, with a focus on preparing children for Kindergarten and for life.
