All Classes are 3 hours long in the morning or afternoon.
Morning Classes are from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. OR from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Afternoon Classes are from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. OR from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m.
TWOS CLASS:
Tuesday/Thursday Morning
Our two-year-old class is two (2) days per week in the morning. Two-year-olds must be two (2) by June 30th of the year they start school. For example, to enroll in the two-year-old class for the 2010-2011 school year, your child must turn 2 by June 30, 2010. Our Two-year-olds do not need to be potty trained. Montecito provides diapers and will change diapers when necessary.
TWOS/THREES COMBO CLASS:
Tuesday/Thursday Afternoon
Our two- and three-year-old class is two (2) days per week in the afternoon. To enroll, children must turn two years old by May 1st or three years old between September and December in the year they start school. Children do not need to be potty trained for this class. Montecito provides diapers and will change diapers when necessary.
THREES CLASSES:

Our four-year-old classes are three (3) days per week in the morning or afternoon. To enroll, children must turn 4 on or before December 2nd in the year they start school. Montecito requires all four-year-olds to be potty trained.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASS:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Morning
Our Pre-Kindergarten class is a young fives class and is offered to children who turn five between August and February of the school year. These children need an extra year to refine skills that have already been put in place in the four-year-old class so that they will be ready for Kindergarten the following year. In no way is this class meant to be a replacement for the fours class. Instead, the Pre-Kindergarten class is an extension of the fours class.

KINDER-PREP CLASS:
Tuesday/Thursday Morning
Our Kinder-prep class is an add-on to our young fives or fours class and is offered to children who are eligible for our young fives class, or who are enrolled in our fours class and have turned four by August 1st. The curriculum is designed to complement the fours and young fives programs by offering projects and small group study in preparation for kindergarten the following year. Children who meet the age criteria may enroll in this class on its own.
KINDERGARTEN CLASS:
Monday-Friday Afternoon
Our Kindergarten class meets state academic standards in a nurturing, small group setting. The class is limited to twleve students, and has two teachers. Our low ratio allows the teachers to establish stronger individual connections with each child and provide a personalized education plan and one-on-one instruction. To enroll, children must turn 5 on or before December 2nd in the year they start school.
